NCET’s Tech Tuesday - New2u Computers- Oct 14
Please join us at New2u Computers on October 14 for NCET’s Tech Tuesday, Greater Reno-Tahoe’s premier technology and entrepreneurial networking event.
New2u Computers, a program of Disability Resources, Inc., is a non-profit computer refurbishing and recycling program located in Sparks. Custom computer systems and peripherals are sold to the community at a low cost in its computer store and are provided at no cost to people with disabilities. SNCAT - Sierra Nevada Community Access Television
Sierra Nevada Community Access Television (SNCAT) is a full community access center creating content and transmitting public, education and government cable channels in the Truckee Meadows. SNCAT contracts with Reno (Channel 13), Sparks (Channel 15) and Washoe County (Channel 17) to provide live coverage and playback of all city council, county commission, planning and related public meetings. SNCAT also produces programs for all three channels. SNCAT provides live web streaming and interactive video on demand (archived) meetings and locally originated programming.

Reno’s Tech Thursday moves to Tuesday - Inaugural event at Pindi and IBI on Tuesday, Sept 18
We heard you, and w’ve moved Greater Reno Taho’s premier technology and entrepreneurial networking event to the 3rd Tuesdays. This avoids conflicts with some of Northern Nevada’s other popular networking events. On Tuesday, September 18, we kick off the new Tech Tuesday with a visit to Pindi and Image Base International. 
Pindi is a hi-tech innovation company whose goal is to “Create products extremely beneficial for mankind.” Pindi will be demonstrating its Pin-SCAN™ technology, which has the ability to see and detect physical conditions without electrical/chemical interactions, needles, high intensity radiation, cutting, cameras, etc. Pin-SCAN™ technology is proving to have significant applications in both the medical and security industries. Image Base International (IBI) is an innovative agency that offers marketing/branding and hi-technology solutions for its clients. IBI will demonstrate the latest in digital signage networks. IBI specializes in digital solutions such as websites, digital signage, and interactive kiosks. In addition IBI provides a full range of traditional advertising services.
